Thank you so much, youshine, for sharing this video and doing the translation for those who does not read Korean, like me. First time I heard this song for some reason the melody was so moving that I actually wept. It sounded a bit Spanish (well-performed on the guitar by DONG HWAN NOH), and I wasn't even know that it was an old Korean song. Then, I did some deep research and found out the background of the song.

Indeed, Koreans suffer a lot with the war and the separation to this date. I respectfully hope and pray that all Koreans will be unified one day, and NOT under the evil communists. Let us not forget it was the North Korea who started the invasion to the south according to recorded world history as I understand. I am American and a Christian, and I hope our current US president will play a role in liberating people from N Korea the same way President Reagan liberated the people of the former USSR. May God bless the US and Korea--my deep love for both countries!!!

I am a supporter of Trump and am grateful for what he tries to achieve against all the back stabbing Liberals attempts that are sponsered by the shadow governement of former president, Obama. I read that majority of Korean youth are now brain washed to believe that it was the America backed South Korea which started the Korean war, and yet glad to know that you see the truth about what actually happened with Korean war.
